About Frisco | Little Elm
Frisco is an affluent city located in Collin and Denton counties nin Texas. It is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, and is located napproximately 25 miles from both Dallas Love Field and Dallas/Fort Worthn International Airport. When the Dallas area was being settled by American pioneers, many of the nsettlers traveled by wagon trains along the old Shawnee Trail. This trail was also used for cattle drives north from Austin. This trail later became the Preston Trail, and later, Preston Road. Preston Road is one of the oldest north-south roads in all of Texas. With all of this activity, the community of Lebanon was founded along this trail and granted a U.S. post office in 1860.
Little Elm is a city in Denton County, Texas, United States, and an part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. It is an extended suburb of nDallas. The population was 3,646 at the 2000 census. Little Elm is generally located along the northern and eastern shores ofn Lewisville Lake at the cross roads of Eldorado Parkway and FM 423 and nincludes stretches of U.S. Highway 380. Its neighbors include Frisco to nthe east, nThe Colonynand Hackberry to the south, Prosper, Aubrey, and Providence to the nnorth, and Oak Point, Cross Roads, and Lakewood Village to the west.n
